I am Derek Jevens. I have been a Keane fan since 2004 when Hopes and Fears first came out. In 2007 I created www.keaneshine.com, the next Keane fan site since Keane.at shut down.

I love writting music. I am in my own band. I play piano, bass, and synth. I do sing, but Im not really that good. I can play a little bit of drums, but not much.

I graduated from High School in 2006 from Black River Falls Senior High School. I was going to school to become a teacher, but I since dropped out to pursue music.
