The eagerly awaited (by many of us anyway) announcement on the launch arrangements for mesh-29's second album 'Secret Traffic' was made today...

SECRET TRAFFIC - THE BRAND NEW ALBUM - THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER

It's been a long 6 months since we first went into Strongroom studios to start work on our 2nd album, but the wait is almost over.

Sorry to have kept everyone in the dark so long about exactly when the album will be released. We can now announce that there'll be 500 exclusive numbered & signed copies available only from our website from September 1st. You'll be able to pre-order your copy next week so keep your eyes peeled.

This will be followed by an official release date in all online shops and high street stores mid-October.

NEW WEBSITE - SONGS - SHOP - ARTWORK - MYSPACE

The launch date for the brand new website and shop is August 5th (next Tuesday!). You'll be able to check out the brand new songs and pre-order your limited edition copy of Secret Traffic. You'll also be able to preview the 'Secret Traffic' front cover which has been crafted by Alex Lake, the man who bought us Keane's 'Hopes and Fears' album cover.

It's all really exciting and we can't wait for everyone to see what we've been spending so much time making.

Sooo... we all know that Lady Gaga is kinda crazy, but she is actually a really cool musician when you get to know more about her. Did anyone know that she writes all her own music and has accoustic versions of her songs that sound nothing like the album versions. She even plays the CP70 in the Cherry Tree Sessions!

I think it’s worth opening a thread for her!

She’s by far my favourite female solo artist. She’s definitely very gifted with a heavenly voice and a phenomenal artist in general. Some music experts say she’s the new Aretha Franklin, and I really hope she will achieve as much as Aretha has. And she released her first solo album at the age of 16!!!!

So what are your thoughts about her voice/music? I’d really love to know what your opinion is

WORLDWIDE FIRST PLAY OF TAKE BACK THE CITY

Hello there everyone. I will be on Zane's show on Monday evening (9/1) from 7pm to play the single, Take Back The City, for the first time anywhere. It'll be played at 7.20pm but I advise listening to the whole thing as it's an awesome show with a deep love and knowledge of new music. I've been told it will be streamed on the radio one website at the same time, whatever the hell that means! I'm sure the more internet savvy of you will know what that means.

If you miss it at 7:20pm you will also be able to listen to the track again online from tuesday morning at bbc.co.uk/radio1/ as well as a snippet from the track at SP.com after the last chord has rung out on the radio.
