PS22 CHORUS COVER EVERYBODY'S CHANGING, BAND APPROVE

After Keane fan Lelah posted a comment under Richard's blog at the weekend, the band became aware of this video of NYC's PS22 Chorus performing Everybody's Changing. "Big thanks to Lelah for spotting it and posting about it," Richard told km.com. "We think it's absolutely brilliant."

Ok, so you know I live in Kansas--Dorothy is fine the Witch is dead.. Anyway, I never hear Keane on the radio, so imagine my surprise when I come back from a commerical break and hear Keane on the telly! I was like I don't have the cd on, wth? It was Time to Go, for a Monk promo for the last 3 episodes commercial on USA Network! I am stoked! Maybe these idiots in Kansas will finally GET IT!! Best band there is...hands down....

I will not give up on them I WILL hear them in Kansas in the radio....it its the last freakng thing I do!

Live DVD

Does anybody know if the band are producing a live DVD from the Perfect Symmetry tour?

I was at the O2 when they shot the DVD from the Under the Iron Sea tour and its amazing to have the memory of the DVD of that gig. Iam so hoping that they will be producing a DVD. More memories from a wonderful tour.

Richard and Rob photo book?

Do you guys remember that Richard and Rob wanted to make a book with their photos?

Since the last Keane shows wound up in November 2007 we’ve both been picking out our favourite shots from the thousands of photographs we took as we toured the world.

We tried to capture the unlikely beauty of the many places we’ve been as we found them - from the car parks of the mid-west to the beaches of Brazil; plus photos of us and our friends in the band and crew, offstage, working, relaxing and waiting around in airports and dressing rooms the world over.

R&R is due for publication this Autumn and this edition will only be available online in a limited edition. We wanted to make something we’d be proud of so it will be hardcover, printed in full colour on high quality art paper with text written by us. The books will be individually numbered and presented in a slip case and we will sign a limited number of them too.

Hi guys my name is Ben Jones and I am a DJ on Absolute Radio, just to let you know that Tim and Richard will be on my show tomorrow night (tuesday 10th). Talking about H&F and the super fast rise to the top. Plus there is loads we recorded that won't make the show tomorrow night, so there will be a podcast too, which you can find on itunes if you search Absolute radio and keane. It should be up online sometime tomorrow, but i will keep you posted!

First of all, we want to thank all the nice fans that have been sending their Keane live pics during these years. Thank you so much, our live pics archive wouldn’t be so great without you!

Here’s the news: together with a colorful new homepage, we’ve created a brand new page entirely dedicated to all Keane fans.

It’s a sort of the live pics archive we have been updating since 2004, and of which you are probably part of, but this page will only host pics you took with TTRJ.

Welcome to the 2009 Perfect Symmetry Covers Competition!

It's time to start making those covers! Like previous years, you the fans will have the opportunity to make you recorded

cover versions of Keane songs. When the cover submission deadline is met, fans will be able to vote on which cover of each

song they like best. The covers that get the most votes will be put on the Perfect Symmetry cover album and be made

available for download with a donation to St. Michaels Hospice!

The Rules:

1.) All material must be original (that means no dubbing your voice over the original Keane track, etc...)
2.) Groups are allowed.
3.) Each person can submit up to no more than 2 covers. This includes group efforts. This means that if you submit two

covers you made yourself, you cannot submit another cover you did with a group.
4.) All covers must be submitted by the deadline
5.) Have fun!

SUNDAY, MAY 10, 2009 by 11:59pm.

Keane in Pro Evolution Soccer 2010

Good news for those who love football, videogames and... Keane: Again And Again is part of the official soundtrack of the newest version of one of the most popular sports videogames of our generation, Pro Evolution Soccer!

As you navigate in the menu of Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, you will often be able to listen to the seventh track of Keane's latest album. Actually, I think it is very appropriate to associate Again And Again to sports, because of the energy that it transmits. I found such song quite "olympic" from the first time I heard it.

After Nothing In My Way was included in FIFA 2007 soundtrack, now it is time for a Keane song to be featured in the popular soccer simulator produced by Konami, Pro Evolution Soccer, also known as PES or Winning Eleven.

Videogames are an excellent way to promote music. Players naturally get used to the soundtrack of the games they play and, obviously, there are thousands and thousands of people around the globe who spend a lot of time in front of the computer, Xbox, PlayStation or whatever...

I myself am very glad to know that, from now on, I will be able to enjoy two of my favourite pleasures at the same time: Keane and Pro Evolution Soccer.

Absolute Radio Forum Competition

Here is the low down

This summer, Absolute Radio’s going to be at gigs and festivals across the UK, and after the success of Rock-Off we want to get forums involved. We’re running a series of competitions called “Live Stories” where your gig and festival experiences could win you tickets to a live event – the overall winning forum gets to pick the line-up for a virtual festival to be broadcast on Absolute Radio!

It was great having the Keane forum involved in Rock-Off, and we’d love it if you could take part in Live Stories. Looking through the posts on the live section of the forum, it’s obvious that your members are passionate about live music and Keane live, and I thought you’d all have some amazing stories to share.

How will it work?

We’re asking forums to discuss their live experiences and submit their four best stories to http://www.absoluteradio.co.uk/music/live/stories/. These could be anything connected to live music; the time you watched a David Bowie gig from backstage, or got lost at Glastonbury and discovered Tibetan throat singing for example.

From the 3rd August onwards we’ll be holding four competitions, each lasting a week. During this time, the best live stories be discussed on-air on Absolute Radio and the public will vote for their favourites. The person whose story wins will get a pair of tickets to a live event (like Reading or V Festival).

At the end of the summer, each forum with a winning story will go into a final for the chance to create a virtual festival, picking two hours’ worth of live tracks to be played as an Absolute Radio show.
