As pretty-in-plaid pointed out, I think a lot of artists draw on each other's work for inspiration, and in that vein I think it's fair to say Keane have probably "copied" other artists; I think every artist does in some way. Besides, I think nowadays there is just so much music and art floating around in the world that it's probably almost impossible to not have a part of a song or art be similar to someone else's.

And I don't know if it's an issue of being a copycat... artists have to look to other artists for inspiration... as long as we don't have an Under Pressure/ Ice Ice Baby issue on our hands, I think everything will be fine!

omg Pearl Jam have a song called Thin Air. That album came out in 2000. Obviously they copied Keane via time machine!

La Roux is such a copycat!! All the oooohing in In For The Kill is like in Spiralling, and in the vid for Bulletproof, she's used the merged together pic idea like on the Perfect Symmetry album artwork!!
