[quote user="Merja"]I think it's a good idea to take some "time off"!
Strangeland - to me - was such a disappointment! Sure, the basic approaches were good, but it felt like they absolutely wanted to create an album that sells. There were so many potentially great songs, but they overloaded them with unnecessary ...
[quote user="jdp"] Even better, how how about they reform Keane & tour as a triple bill!!!
Although it would be difficult for every one to remember which hat they are wearing.
But it would be an awesome concert, say a 3 & half hour marathon of Tom, then Mt Desolation, then Keane.
They could be their own headline act!!!! ...
I got the impression they've only had a few sessions so far. Potential timing for the new album intrigued me (could they debut their new songs to coincide with the fan gathering next summer?) so I asked Jesse on Twitter what the chance was that they'd be finished by then. His answer? 50/50 chance..

I was inspired by what a group of a-ha fans put together during their final concerts in 2010 and have wanted to do a similar event for Keane fans ever since... Battle / East Sussex Tourism and KeaneTrail have fueled my enthusiasm and a group of ...
For those of you who haven't heard, there is a small committee of fans putting together a worldwide Keane fan meet up next August 7-9 in and around Bexhill/Battle/Hastings. We have a lot of special things planned for those willing to travel for this event. We'll have a website up soon with the details but for now, we're looking for a ...
If it were any other band, I'd say there would be potential to replace the lead singer if they were no longer up for the job. Queen, INXS and Van Halen are bands that come to mind here but this is Keane we're talking about. This is a band that came about through long term friendships and bonding over music. I'm not sure KEANE could ...
They've done quite a few tours of the US. In fact, it's one of their favourite places to tour. I'm sure if/when they reform, they'll include the US in their World Tour plans.
