I was there too, somewhere a bit more to the back in the middle of the crowd and the atmosphere there was great, miles away from their frankly painful appearance three years ago. The concert was a really good party. As was the rest of the festival.

I loved that whole thing, and the whole update set-up is good now still. This thread has made me want to go back and look at the early ones again, and it turns out you need an offset of 280 (!) messages for that. The math gives you 4 updates every 5 days. Quite a feat.

I think it's an interesting choice. The standard thing to do here is choose another, smaller live band to open for you, with the joint purpose of warming up the crowd and giving exposure to lesser knowns. At most gigs I've been to, they failed to achieve the first of those. Someone mixing dance music live may have a lot more success. A bit ...

I love this song. It's so good that I don't even mind the passive agressiveness in the lyrics. Though that usually bugs the hell out of me.

The part where they cut the second woah makes my ears bleed. The fact that they had the nerve to tamper with that part is terrible in itself, but the way they did it (by simply chopping it out and glueing the other pieces together) is just awful. And for just four seconds as well!
