  • Re: Your Keane Album Top 5 Order & Why -

Good point about UTIS Alfonso and I know what you mean about some UTIS songs, Crystal Ball although the lyrics seem to be about a feeling of emptiness, the music itself is quite upbeat which always intrigued me, I guess they wanted to lift the general mood of UTIS with those three songs.  That said, one thing I particularly love about the ...

katbbe, it is musical perfection, isn't it and I believe it was released as a single on 20 January.  I listen to Absolute Radio quite a bit and they have been playing it over and over again (to my shock), which I don't mind at all!  (Often here they play SOWK or EC a lot though occasionally we get LAL, BTT I even caught ...

Melissa, I love the way you describe UTIS, it was also soooo close between UTIS and Strangleand for me to.  In a lot of ways UTIS reminds me not to return to the place in my mind where I was at when I bought this album (at that time identifying with a lot of the songs) and a lot of the lyrics in Strangeland help me to keep positive ...

Here's my choice, took me a while to make each decision! 1) Strangeland, I love the more positive tone of it and there is numerous lyrics about finding strength in difficult times which can be a powerful influence on anyone.  It also has Seafog on it which is just outstanding and hauntigly beautiful.  Now one of my top 5 Keane ...

hi brunettireh and thank you for the compliment. Playing the guitar whilst on the beach sounds great!  I also like to look for shells at the right time of day when you can find large shells that the tide has washed up, can spend hours it's great fun.  Then it's a good excuse to relax with a cake and a cup of tea afterwards!  ...

  • Re: Happy New Year

Hi MelanieD, I hope the weather improves for you real soon.  Here in Derbyshire it has been really wet and windy with some parts of the UK having flooding and people having to leave their homes, feel awful for them.  Fortunately today here it is a lot calmer and forecast promises for a calmer week next week.  Helen

Hi Jules, I did think of you all when I saw the forecasts and crossed my fingers for you.  How soon before you can get the roof fixed?  At least you were able to have a good Christmas.  We still managed to do everything we normally do, obviously, a couple of Christmas outings we had planned we couldn't do but otherwise we had ...
