• Re: How would you feel if.....

One happy mofo... Bands change, Keane would have to find a new identity, and it would be difficult for the older well known songs, but if it got them to a position where they were making records every year or so, it could be a good thing for the band, it could reivigorate them, Jesse and Tim could take over the singing if they didn't ...

  • Re: Tom's solo tour..

Why would he do covers? Mt. Desolation only performed their material and it made for a set of about 1hr.  I expect Tom to do the same, striking out on your own you have to create your own image and identity, Tom won't do that by performing covers... maybe.. maybe, you get a Queen cover as an encore.

  • Re: Tim at Battle Arts and Music Festival
Tim will have to use the train like ordinary people. In my opinion it might do him some good to see how the other half live. Get him out in the real world instead of the bubble he's been in for the past 10 years). I don't mean that in a nasty way, I just think it might help him to see a different ...

*it should be noted that the following are JOKES, no harm is meant by them but in the great English way of taking the mickey out of what you love, some of them might be of centre.. but guys.. • Re: QOTW: Tim's Greatest Songwriting Piece?

His greatest... that's likely to be Somewhere Only We Know, it will be the most enduring, and in 20 years when it appears on a advert for Cadbury with a  Cat playing the piano we will all laugh... It's difficult sometimes for Keane, because Tim approaches 40 with five albums under his belt (no.. NT was not an album its an EP.. and ...

  • Re: Most under/overrated Keane songs?

According to what i've seen on this forum, Most of Strangeland is overrated, the album just doesn't work (for me) and when I hear people say how amazing some of the tracks are, I don't think any of them would've been included on Hopes & Fears... can you think of any you'd swap?    It's difficult to say ...

  • Re: the starting line

http://eil.com/shop/moreinfo.asp?catalogid=604829 have it in stock. I don't think any of the singles from Strangeland fit into today's charts, so there's little reason releasing any of them for other than radio promo for the album.... shame really because their debut was bursting with them..

  • Re: Tom's solo thing
. In Vicki's post- I couldn't work out if she meant Tom was a weirdo or silentbob was a weirdo. For the record, I don't think either of them are.
Wait.. what... I'd quite like being a weirdo. cos well.. why the f*** not. You can only ever give your opinion and ...
