  • Re: Which Keane Song Is Most Likely to Stand the test of Time?

good question.. I think the answer to your question is, the song keane will be remembered for.. and as of now, the songs are probably Everybody's Changing or Somewhere Only We Know, etc... personally, my guess would be SOWK.. its just the perfect representation of Keane

  • Re: Gallagher writing songs for keane

I was just watching some oasis videos and Noel mentioned in an interview that there's NO chance he would write songs for other bands ... "writing songs for someone else? Fucking no chance... im too much of a controlfreak for that" =P ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1MsuoNJQ3U

  • Re: Guilty "My Shadow" Confession

I never really cared THAT much for lyrics, so that's also a confession.. I do love My Shadow, especially at the "when you're backs agains the wall" where the song becomes louder and faster and releases the energy it built up the section before.. I agree that it's a song that seperates itself from other keane songs, so I ...

why not? Obviously, Tim is into artist-collaboration.. He wrote a song for gwen stefani, and they worked with k'naan and all that. And besides, Keane are getting known for surprising fans continuously... those clever bastards =D

can't remember which song is was, but I think Paul Simon used the words "many's the time" in it (was it American Tune?), and i'm wondering if Tim was inspired by that one for bedshaped.. Its not something I hear often in songs anyway

  • Re: How Often Do You Listen To Keane?

surprisingly often actually (through 5 years!). Just realised how much material they have.. I try and get a hold of as much as I can get, so I dont get bored of Keane. All the covers I have collected (studio and radio ones), and I sometimes rip audio performances to mp3.. I dont think there goes a day without I put on at least one keane song =)

  • Re: How big is Keane where you are from?

(Denmark:) Not a very famous band, its probably similar to as in (selected places in) America... I mean Their shows here are always close to (if not completely) sold out, and they do have many fans here.. And I think H&F sold 20.000 copies in its first weeks or so. But there are only a couple of danish boardies so I think that shows alot. But ...
