    Dionysia:

Dear Lord that X-Factor performance was horrid.  I could only last through the first line before I had to turn it off.

I was looking for an alternative to (American) football yesterday afternoon and landed on "Kristi Yamaguchi and Friends" figure skating special. Embarrassed Much to my surprise, a male skater was skating to "Atlantic"!   (The skater is Steven Cousins.)  I can't find the video online, unfortunately.

ahh! im a figure skater and i would love to see that!! too bad you cant find it online :( if anyone else can, i would be so grateful!

I'm hoping that NBC will put the entirety of the special up on their website in a couple of days.  if they do, I'll post here about it.

I heard SOWK on Absolute radio earlier. Everyone vote on their song of the decade poll- http://songofthedecade.com/

All you need to do is create an account which takes seconds and then you can vote for as many songs as you want. There are 10 possible Keane songs as it is only songs that have appeared in the top 75 in the last decade. They are annoucing the top 100 in December so we need everyone to vote over the next month.

Song of the Decade - Somewhere Only We Know by Keane

Or vote for all the Keane songs!

Crappy morning, running late and full of minor irritations, transformed by switching the radio on to hear SOWK being played in the background of a Radio 2 plug for Jeremy Vine's bedtime story contest. Son 2 was very excited about it as well.

Thanks to the fabulous Liyana. Avi by Malena. Equally fab.

Snowed Under played on Q Radio - first time I've heard it on radio. Introduced as "new from Keane" though! Wonder if it's being played to promote the H+F deluxe ed?

     Hi people

This is quite weird but I think I was on Absolute Radio earlier. I was in the common room at sixth form at lunch today and I got someone trying to call me about 3 times so I went outside and answered and they said Hi, this is Absolute Radio in London! They then asked me what song I had voted for in song of the decade and cos I'd voted for all the Keane songs I just said SOWK, but they had Is it any wonder written down. So I said yeah I'd voted for that too and e-mailed them with that particular choice. At this point I didn't relise I had been live on the radio but later on I checked on there website and it said that IIAW was one of the songs played just after I'd had this phone call, so I must have been live! Still not 100% sure though but it soudned like the guy who is the DJ at this particular time of day. Can anyone confirm that I was live- I bet I sounded like a right idiot cos I was a bit shocked and confused at the time lol.

I also heard Everybody's Changing on just about 20 minutes ago.

Yes, I heard that too. But they only played the 'woow' part. They skipped all of the other lyrics (if I remember it correctly)

This doesn't entirely match the idea of the song spot, but I had a new piano pupil today. She produced a book of songs by Keane, saying she wanted to aim towards playing some of them... I couldn't help but mention my slight interest in Keane......

Try Again- at a shopping centre in Jerusalem

Crystal Ball- Zara in Haifa haha and also my friend heard them at this bowling place!

Somewhere Only We Know demo (how the hell did they do that?!)- a shop.

Good Keane week in Israel haha ;)

    Ha ha ha!!

I was also in Israel last week, I was feeling a little sick while at the mall with a friend, and then TWO songs from UTIS came on ("Broken Toy" and "A Bad Dream"), followed by This is the Last Time and Bend and Break! Must have been a real Keane fan!! Here in NY I almost never hear the songs randomly.... Anyway, made a kind of unpleasant day a lot better :) Toda Keane!
