Many thanks for your persistence on this, Kerry. I finally have the album too, so I'm feeling a lot more gruntled. It would have been nice to get some update announcements on the website through all this, but at least they got it out to us in the end. Thanks again to both you and the band Smile

Really great that all you guys finally have it!!!

Naily, is it possible for others to get the 3 extra UK bonustracks also? I bought and downloaded the live album back in december I believe when it was available for the first time, so I only have the 10 European tracks. Thanks in advance.

Wouter and Annie, I will enquire and see if they are going to be made available.

The artwork was a in the form of a live photo, before Trinity went bust. I will also ask about this.

    Thank you so much :)

Wasn't the cover pic yooooooooours Ms. Kerry?? Wink

I have still not received it and I'm getting pretty pissed by now. Kerry's already sent my details to them two weeks ago, and they just seem to do nothing with it! I paid more than most people (I ordered it seperately) so I think it's ridiculous that they're dealing with their customers this way. I'm not saying fans, because the band themselves probably can hardly do anything about it and I do not blame them at all. But I am sure that I'll never digi-download anything from KM.com again, ever! Believe me on that. Enough with the rant now.

Do we actually need to do anything to push this along? Or are we just supposed to trust that we will get this email .....eventually? The emails are obviously going out, and I would have thought that they are being staggered to reduce strain on servers, but it would be nice to have some sort of communication saying they expect all emails to have been issued by such and such a date, and a line of communication opened for queries etc.

Is there anyone pushing this on our behalf or are we entirely on our own with this?  Glad those of you have the download already, but what about the rest of us?

It's better to burn out than to fade away.

Yes, Kerry (naily) has been handling issues for people; I'd suggest PMing her with your order details and maybe she can get it sorted for you.

I understand what you are saying, but the same words have been said about 3 times. If you know Tom Chaplin, can you ask him if he could explain this 'problem' on their website because I don't think everyone know what the problem is. I, for myself, must say I thought I was a true fan and I decided to give my hard earned cash to buy an extra download album. Now, I will never do it again. I believe most people would think along the same line. No news or anything on their website. I had to dig deep to get to your message. No announcement or anything. whereas there are unimportant blogs and s**t, and my paid merchandise isnt even worth a mention!? I wouldn't mind my money back actually. Whatever is the problem, please ask tom chaplin and co. to explain the problem on their official website and offer refund for people like me, who are so pissed off, after the concert has ended so long now!

There are people *still* waiting for this?! Tongue Tied

I can't argue with your sentiments, amcgreal. I got my download some time ago, and I'm still irked at the lack of official communication for the months before it was sorted. The prospect of a repeat of this whole thing would make me think carefully before ordering from KM in the future.

Re: LIVE Digital Album *FURTHER UPDATE* 08/06/2009

Obviously this isn't in my personal control, I only chase and pass on what I know. Its extremely infuriating for those that have waited and that are STILL waiting on these months on.

Personally, I wouldnt pre order, I would wait and see how it pans out with the new guys - if I miss out on an *exclusive* track then so be it.

So what? Are you saying that breach of contracts can be tolerated?

I ordered the album twice: 1) ordered it with the ticket for UK tour, which includes extra tracks, and 2) ordered the album only which is without extras in December, after I read KM com's announcement : http://www.keanemusic.com/archive-comment.php?rnd=0MvJAj4%2FXZGrI4nm13uzQh8oqb2qZ%2BQI%2F0%2FRi30WrH0%3D because I couldn't wait for the UK tour to finish. I ordered them because I read that many boarides who had ordered it with European tour tickets received it so I thought I could risk GBP 7.9-. Then I have received the download which includes extra tracks but not for the one I ordered separately.

Anyway, what really bugs me is that how bad their management is. If they are just incompetent, then so be it but I haven't given up KM com (I think Keane management is the right word for this issue) yet.

You're leaving so soon. Never had a chance to bloomWilted Flower Thanks to Rich Rich for Keane siggy!

What are you on about? where have I said that?!!!! FGS Im a fan same as you and im saying personally I wouldnt pre order regardless due to this current incompetence thats merely my opinion.

Nothing to do with tolerating "breaches of contracts".

With regard to your email naily, I'd like to reply to say a couple of things. Firstly, I did not buy the download album purely for the extra tracks, I am a fan, and I want to support my band, OK? Secondly, telling me now that it is inadvisable to pre-order it is a bit unhelpful. also, you wouldnt recommend it, however, I understand there are plenty of pre orders out there which dont give any problems at all. I hope you agree the fact the Keane hasnt said anything on their official website is unacceptable.

Firstly, I am also a fan. I dont work for the band, What I do is in my free time. If I get any news I pass it on and chase up issues where possible so please don't tell me im unhelpful.

You said "I'd like to reply to say a couple of things. Firstly, I did not buy the download album purely for the extra tracks"

    I didnt say you did!

With regards to preorders, Im stating my personal opinion, (not anywhere am I telling/advising that you or anybody thinks/does the same!) since that having had my fingers burnt I wont be using the pre order option until I see it work.

With regards downloading it, it is by way of a link in an email.

Richard made some comments regarding the service due to Trinity folding on the homepage, he apologised.
