ok 4 dates and 2 marriage proposals..... this is what happened....

the first date was with this guy I met at this group gathering for Capture The Flag [a game]. I didnt remember what he looked like or what we talked about the day we first met, but when we went on the date [breakfast] we walked around, and then he started irritating me, like never letting me finish my sentences, going on about coputers [his passion] and continuously cutting me off. We had breakfast, I ate my entire meal and drink, he didnt touch his and went to the toilet 8 times in that hour, no joke. and I told him that I think its best if we dont see each other anymore, I told him Im not really ready to be involved with someone at the moment. Guess what he does? keeps calling me, asking me to go on dates with him, annoying the *** out off me by posting my name all over his facebook profile, talking about me to his mates [which are friends with people I know] and yeah... really off putting.

second date.... he decided to stand me up. then he calls me and tells me he has a girlfriend. eugh. unbelievable.

third date, ended up being so nice, I ditched the loser 4th date guy. He talked the entire time, maybe a sign that I need to listen more than talk more. got some dvds [my kinda thing], cuddle up. he's really cute, very tall [basketballer]..... aint an excellent kisser though. I like someone with skill. lol.

then he told me some stupid bet was on [hes apparently not meant to touch/talk to women for 40 days, and apparently its my fault he has to start again, so now he's pissed with me, when it was actaully his fault, then some stupid girl posted on his facebook "I hope she was worth it" so I decided to ask him myself. now he's not talking to me. Now Im upset, but he's a jerk if he doesnt wanna answer. if he liked me, he wouldnt hesitate.

So I guess Im back on the stupid market, I feel embarrassed. I always put myself out there and do so much, make a big effort, and it gets slammed back into my face.

but meh, I got my prom dress [my best mate from my old school asked me for his July prom] and I'm trying to find the pic....

I got the crimson/dark pink version.

I should be resting and trying to get better

Got dressed early and even had potatoes peeled before 8am. Lots to do today, and thought I could do with a head start. Doing well, huh?

Bella, you were right in the other thread when you said you might wait for someone special. That's the person who won't mess you around.

 Five in the morning?  That's truly appalling. 

I've actually made some progress; top half is dressed if scruffy, but still need to find some trousers that are weather-appropriate and clean...although I could be persuaded to compromise on the clean part.

Donna, stay here and never worry about getting dressed or preparing for your friends...Dawn's already been taken by the dark side, you can't go too!

 You pair are making me feel guilty...I'm so disorganised that I'd even forgotten to sort out anything for dinner-and considering how much Naomi like to eat, that was a serious lapse of memory. Situation now remedied.

Aw, Donna, you disappoint me.  I'm sure a costume would help with the transition.

The story of my avi...a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far...  no wait, it was a dark and stormy night-okay, fine.  I made it back in the day when I still had time to mess around with graphics.  I think I got the idea from a tutorial on livejournal...as far as I remember, it involved a desaturated layer, quite a lot of sharpening and resizing, a couple of tinted gradients, a layer of a kind of burned green, a rather appealing cloudy brush, some black lines, some teeny-weeny text and one of my favourite you're-saying-what-I'm-feeling lines from a Keane song...although I'm realising now that to someone who didn't already know what it says, at most two of the words are legible...and they're not even beside each other, which might throw people.  Keanie points to anyone who can identify the lyric! 

Would it be something from Bend And Break by any chance?
