I have just returned from Regent Street, London where I've just had a bit of a weird experience, in the window of "Lacoste" is a dress that what I can only describe as "Perfect Symmetry" clothing. Is this allowed? I've checked the back of the album to discover who owns the copyright/artwork to the boys album & it says its owned by Universal Island Records Ltd.  It appears to be a running theme throughout with tee shirts & sweatshirts also available.  Hey lassinthegreen.  I don't think the guys have anything to worry about for a couple of reasons:  the pattern is a bit different than the one used on PS to start, there isn't any green used in the dress, instead of hotpink they use light pink and there aren't any of the boys eyeballs sticking out on it. :P

They are safe. ;) No worries. 

Although it would make a cute dress to wear to one of the gigs. 

Well, I'd imagine Universal only owns the rights to the album cover itself; so if someone used the album cover on clothes then I'd guess there'd be an issue, but the rights probably don't cover similar patterns (if that makes sense). 

It is a spiffy looking dress though...

Oh trust me I would love to buy the dress to wear at a Keane gig but Ive just had my burfday so the chances of hubby buying me yet another Keane related pressie may well be pushing my luck a wee bit too far.  But they also do tee shirts in a similar pattern for 50 quid (hint hint hubby) & me thinks the money will be better spent on my four ex battery chickens Im about to buy & all they require. You will never guess what I'm going to call them,our three kids think I've totally lost the plot - I know they're girls.......Anyway I think that subject belongs a another Keane thread.

Cant deny though the dress did make my eyes pop out & the heart go whooo.

daaaamn i really like that dress! but the website doesn't ship to the Uk :( so i guess i will have to wait til when i'm next in london. maybe in a few weeks... :D
