I recived a mail from the Keane Store, the Hopes And Fears Deluxe Edition have been dispached!!!!!!

 Mine arrived yesterday whilst I was at school, I wasn't expecting it until Monday! I'm going to listen to it now (: I like the little bit written by Steve Lamacq, it's really interesting.

 Just two flaws with this cd: it doesn't have the lyrics for the extra tracks and it's all stuff we already had. But hey, at least it looks nice and it sounds better than ever I am however rather ashamed to say that this is already my 4th version of H&F in the collection

I have never heard some of the older tracks on CD2 so for me these are like new stuff. I know Keane have moved on from these, but to somebody like me hearing them for the first time they really are awesome. I can only describe them as sounding mysterious, ghostly, atmospheric... And Tom's voice is gentle, deep, husky - absolutely gorgeous. I was in 2 minds at first whether to buy this as like everyone else I already have H & F but I'm really glad I did. Interestingly according to the back of the CD booklet these tracks were recorded with Dominic Scott and you can hear the guitar. I also actually prefer the Zoomorphic demo 'She Has No Time' to the one on H & F.  I dont mean by saying this that I want them to record like this again or to be back with Dominic Scott - this time has been and gone. I love all their music and  just wanted to say how lovely their old stuff is to somebody hearing it for the first time.

Depeche Mode is one of my favorites bands!

I think that my Deluxe Edition will be arrive the next week. I can't wait!!!

I just received an email from Play.com telling me that my copy has been dispatched to me, so i will get mines either on Wed or Thurs at latest. Very exciting indeed.

I was hoping to win my copy-- but I'll have to wait and find out who the winners of the vid contest are!

Im really surprised and sad that Dinner at 8 isn't on it. I'm sure there are loads of fans out there that dont have it yet. its one of my fav non-album songs and i always have to remind myself the recording i have is a live one coz its so perfect! wish they had put the remix version of rubbernecking on there too- i prefer it to the original. Awesome CD tho, im sooo happy i bought it ^_^
