Oooooh, I've not seen that vid before. Great rare clip of the gig at Battle Memorial Hall too. Especially interesting to me as this time next week I will be in Battle, staying there on Saturday night & meeting up with Jane (dolphin1790) to look around Battle on Saturday and Bexhill & SLC on Sunday.

Think of us Kaz,when you are slurping your tea and scoffing your cream scone.

Staying at The Abbey Hotel, hope TC will drop in for a pint with his Dad.

Thanks for the pics, I doubt I will ever get to see it as I live too far away for a day trip!!!  What a lovely place, do they still live there? I dont think I would want to move away if I was from such a lovely place......aw...theres no place like home Dorothy

Thanks, we had a great weekend, looked around Battle on Saturday and on Sunday we went to Bexhill-on-Sea, where The Sovereign Light Cafe is.

The building in that photo is the Pilgrim's Rest, located next to the abbey. Now used as a tea room/restaurant but it was originally a place for pilgrims to stay when on pilgrimage to the abbey. The current building was built in 1420 on the site of another 12th century building. Tom was interviewed there for the July 2007 edition of QMagazine.
