AMAZING! Its five whole years ago tonight (28.10.2004) since Keane took to the stage at UEA Norwich - the first night of their first headline tour. It was a wonderful night, and the first time any of us in the UK had heard Hamburg Song and Nothing In YOUR Way (as it was then titled...!) Five years on, and I still get the same tingle as on that night. It was great to chat to Richard before that gig and to sit in on the sound check - oh happy days! Here's to the next five years! I agree! Here's to the next five years! I wasn't a fan 5 years ago (being only 8 at the time) but I'm sure they were just as awesome...

  actually my discman was connected to the car , so I didn`t use earphons

 

The potholes were my headache those days . My discman used to crash everytime ..... 

  Also the best part was while driving in rainy days I used to put SUNSHINE .

 

I loved these days.

It's been almost 5 years ago, too, when I went to a Keane concert for the first time. My best friend at the time made me buy tickets for us, I hadn't even heard of them at first, listened to some songs before the concert and got addicted, bought Hopes&Fears right away. My best friend was a fan already, but she got mad at me for something I didn't do, and broke the contact. So I decided to go to the concert with my sister instead, and we had loads of fun, and that's when I became a real fan: hearing them play live so incredibly well did it for me. And I'm still a huge fan, and my best friend at that time now listens to hardcore, from what I've heard. Still think I've got the better taste
