    Bem, primeiramente quanto aos mashups acho que os 3 exemplos citados são bem infelizes. A idéia é super legal, a MTV Brasil tem mostrado durante os intervalos comerciais trechos desses mashups e eu sempre acho muito bem sacado. Mas esses três exemplos não elucidaram bem a idéia, eu simplesmente DETESTO o primeiro exemplo e apesar de achar que as canções se casaram bem no caso da Janet Jackson, preciso confessar que não gostei. Acho o terceiro exemplo o melhor, mas poderia ser feito algo bem mais criativo e com bandas muito mais interessantes... isso na minha opinião, é claro. Por exemplo, acho que seria super legal fazer David Bowie - Let's dance vs Keane - Spiralling, mas tem muito mais coisa que daria certo se a gente parar e pensar um pouco.

    Ah quanto ao trabalho do pai do Tom, é realmente fantástico! Concordo com a Ju, é realmente um exemplo para todos nós. Prova que qualquer pessoa pode tentar mudar uma dura realidade só com compaixão e boa vontade! Que Deus ilumine sempre a sua vida!

    Nenhum deles é piroso, na minha opinião, se bem que o primeiro seja um bocado amador e bastante repetitivo. Brincar com Somewhere Only We Know é sempre perigoso...

    Não pretendo voltar a ouvir nenhum deles, mas fico satisfeito pelo facto de haver quem pegue na música de Keane para fazer coisas destas.

    HOPES AND FEARS VIDEO COMPETITION

    As you know, Hopes And Fears is being reissued with a deluxe edition on November 11th 2009. To celebrate, we've decided to set you folks a challenge - to make a video for the songs on the album that don't currently have a video. Those songs are:

    - Bend And Break
    - We Might As Well Be Strangers
    - Your Eyes Open
    - She Has No Time
    - Can't Stop Now
    - Sunshine
    - Untitled 1
    - Snowed Under

    We'd like your videos to be imaginative, creative, original and interesting. They can be made using any medium - from film to animation - but they must be entirely your own work and we'd prefer them not to include pictures or film of Keane. Just think of what the song means to you and let your imagination run free...

    You have until November 11th to make your video. When you have, please upload it to Vimeo or YouTube and send the link to videos@keanemusic.com. Only one video per person, please.

    One winner will be picked for each of the eight songs. We will then select one overall winner who will win a deluxe Hopes And Fears bundle featuring a double CD, a T-shirt and a limited edition signed poster. The seven other song winners will each receive a signed copy of the Hopes And Fears Deluxe Edition double CD.

    We can't wait to see what you come up with!

    Bem, primeiramente eu como sou muito fã do Paul McCartney adorei demais a mash-up do Keane com ele. Essa música Let Them In é ótima e adorei a adaptação do nome "Let Keane In", ficou excelente! Cool 

    lol então era mesmo anedota Susie, espero que ninguém tenha realmente acreditado não é?

    The votes are in, the closing date has passed and the final results are as follows:

    So, it's congratulation to Let Keane In by Paul McCartney vs Keane, which is now officially (according to km.com, at least) the best Keane mashup track ever.

    The track was put together in March 2005 by Faultside, and features Keane's Somewhere Only We Know, Let 'Em In by Paul McCartney and Wings, plus a little bit of DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince's Summertime. Click here to hear it on Faultside's MySpace player.

    Bem, primeiramente, amei a mashup que ganhou, era realmente a melhor, já viciei total, não paro mais de ouvir Stick out tongue!

    Quanto ao UK Awards não tem jeito né... é que perder um prêmio desses para os Oasis é realmente irritante...

    Agora quanto ao desafio... já tentei ouvir again and again e não faço a menor idéia! Alguém aí sabe?? Stick out tongue

    For the next six days, Ben Sherman are auctioning a signed Keane plectrum in aid of Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy, the UK's largest specialist music therapy charity. It comes framed with a hand-written note from the band, as per the picture (looks posh, doesn't it?).

    Hey folks. The entries are starting to flood in for our Hopes And Fears video contest - and we're going to try and show you as many as possible of them. Like this terrific one, from Pedro Atiénzar.

    (If we don't show yours before the contest closes, it doesn't mean that it's not in with a chance of winning - we just won't be able to show all of them.)

    O novo video está demais, o Pedro está de parabéns mesmo!! Uma das minhas músicas Keane e o vídeo está mesmo a profissional!! Só não gostei de duas coisinhas, acho q ele não deveria ter "cantado", deveria só ter interpretado, acho q ficaria melhor ... e tem lá uma parte que misturam tantas imagens ao mesmo tempo e tão rápido q fiquei vesga!!

    Ai ai agora imagina se fosse o Tom no lugar dele, q lindo q ficava!! eheheh Stick out tongue

    Uauu tbem achei excelente esse vídeo! Realmente o Pedro fez um trabalho praticamente profissional! Poxa, concordo plenamente Paula, acho tbem que teria ficado bem melhor se ele não tivesse cantado, acho que isso ficou um pouco estranho já que sabemos que ele não é o verdadeiro cantor né? Teria ficado mais real se ele tivesse só interpretado, mas acho que valeu! E não é que o rapaz atua bem? Muito bom, além de ter acertado em cheio na escolha da música. Se eu fosse fazer um vídeo do Hopes, provavelmente teria escolhido CSN ou EC. Ah e tbem achei que ficou muito bem feita a parte do "motion keeps my heart running", eu esperava mesmo ver algo diferente ali e poxa, gostei muito do resultado! Parabéns ao Pedro!

    Ahhh e com certeza mana, impossível para mim não imaginar o Tom ali no local do rapaz fazendo as cenas. Teria ficado um bocado bom ao meu ver Wink!

    Pois é AC, todas estamos viu... mas enquanto isso, hoje foi postado o vídeo de We Might As Well Be Strangers da fofíssima Isa:

    Isa explains that her video, "is based on a true love story of a very particular Keane fan: my dog called Neron. Near my house, there's a black schnauzer female dog which likes to walk by my door and bark for Neron. Of course Neron has fallen in love with her and he suffers when he does not see her and even cries because he wants to go out and look for her. He knows it is an impossible love because her owner is looking for a schnauzer male dog. That's why Neron understands very well the song We Might As Well Be Strangers" Aw, poor Neron.
