Live at the O2 Academy Glasgow

Hi, have ordered my tickets for the GLASGOW gig via the store and still not got the tickets.

Its 2 weeks to the gig. Anyone else seen ticket delivery this close to the event? The order was placed through Keane website via Sandbag.

    Thanks!

You're not alone, from what I've seen. In this case I'd say that the unusual thing has been that tickets for other venues on the tour have been dispatched so early (for Sandbag). Think they're supposed to go out 2 weeks before the event, so the dispatch emails ought to be going out very soon.

Never too tired to talk, apparently.

    glasgow gig

just back from gig in glasgow ,should have been brilliant ,was in parts but thats about it , how can you possibly leave out (disconnected) from this set list ,its by far the best song on the new cd, there were too many periods when this all went flat and that just should not happen with a band like keane and the back catalogue of songs, self indulgence is a common thread these days when bands play live, we want to hear the hits and keane have many, more than enough to fill 2 hours of a live gig . what happened to ,can't stop now and strangeland, its a fantastic song ,,only available on deluxe album and is the title track,,, not even played live! also on another note ,the new album cover is fantastic ,went to merchandise not a single item... tshirt... poster or anything with album cover on. guys love you to bits ,,,,sorry for negative feedback , I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking this this tour should be all about strangeland, the new album ,but for long periods tonight, it was nowhere to be seen

Yeah, I was very surprised too that they didn't play Disconnected... it's very strange considering it's a single and one of the best songs on the album. And I don't know why they played Again and Again. If they wanted to put more songs from PS, I would have gone with The lovers are losing, which was a single. I'm very happy that Leaving so soon is back, though! And I hope that My Shadow is played EVERY GIG.

Unfortunately i can't get to see Keane on this tour but i'm enjoying reading the reviews! Very surprised Disconnected is not on the set-list! For me personally, it's one of the best tracks on the album.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it, that's a shame :(  Comparing my experience (and everyone else I've spoken too that was there) we could have been at different gigs. I've seen Keane several times over 8 years and I would say that that was definitely in my top 5 gigs. The album has only been out a few weeks, so to introduce too many new songs in the set this early on in the tour would be a mistake I think, most of the audience probably wouldn't have known them.
The energy on stage and in the crowd was amazing, I've never seen such a high energy set list. Keane have been criticised many, many times over the years for playing the same set list every gig of a tour ... and I for one am happy to see them mixing it up a bit. Obviously everyone has different favourites from each album so if they are swapping things about each gig, some people are going to be disappointed. It's very early in the tour and they are still learning to play the new songs live. Some songs just never work live, I loved Broken Toy but the couple of times I saw them play it live it was, to be frank, dire! I didn't miss Disconnected at all, I think maybe because I've been listening to it for a couple of years now, it didn't feel new anyway.
I definitely think that it makes such a difference where you are in the crowd and who is around you how you feel about a gig (it does to me anyway), where do you think it went flat, was it during new songs or old?
