Brazilian gigs [Live Music Rocks] opening act for M5

We are very happy to see our favourite band in Brazil again after 3 long years, but protesting a lot about just one hour show at August 25th (Rio) and 26th (Sao Paulo). We want full shows, not only opening acts for other band. And now we are really confused. The notice at the KM was posted and after a few hours it vanished like smoke in the air. The dates still appeared for a couple of weeks at the "Upcoming dates" in the official site with no additional info about prices and tickets selling, but today, XYZ Live (the promoter of Brazilian gigs) published the official info with prices and dates for selling tickets, but then... the dates disappeared from the official site!! Please somebody let us know what is happening, we are in panic here :-P

From what I've read they are not an opening act for Maroon 5, just playing alongside them. ;)

Does anyone know how the Paraguay tickets are going, or if they are sold out? I am concerned for a friend of mine who is desperate to see Keane. I am so hoping he managed to get a ticket.

Hi Vic. I used the same words that KM when the notice was spread, "opening act" and "one hour show", it was mentioned also that M5 will be "headliners". XYZ Live (the Brazilian promoter company) is saying exactly the same and so do all the Brazilian press. Would you please tell me something about the Brazilian dates that disappeared from the KM upcoming dates??

I am very interested in this information too, because I and a couple of friends are planning to attend Paraguay gig. How many is the Jockey Club capacity? We tried to buy tickets from ticketshow.com.py and received a message that we are only able to reserve tickets and have to pick them ourselves (and pay in cash) at the local venue in the next 48 hours or the reservation will be expired. (?!?) I have bought tickets all my life and even from other countries and never had a problem like that. Doesn't the site accept credit cards as payment form?? How do people that don't live near Assuncion buy tickets?

I've looked high and low and its not easy to find out the capacity of the Jockey Club. However Aerosmith did a concert there last October, to a capacity of thirty two thousand.

The rules and regulations for the Keane gig do sound very inconvenient.Sad I hope they get a capacitycrowd. I know many people there have prayed for a Keane gig for quite a few years.Big Smile

I've been told by a reliable source (someone who lives in Paraguay) that the Jockey Club can hold 100,000 people.Big Smile

But we still are trying to buy tickets and the option for using credit cards isn't available yet :-(((
