I didn't exactly know where to post this, because there aren't that much threads in this forum. Anyhow, I've always adored the artwork for the album "Under the Iron Sea", so I decided to make my own interpretation of it. Here goes:

that's so good and original, i love it! i'm thinking of maybe getting some kind of tattoo band on my ankle that involves the horses but i'm not sure where to start with the design haha

Thank you so much! Really? Amazing, if only I dared getting myself tattooed ... Hm, but tattoo artists usually are able to come up with lots of different designs. Bring the CD cover and have them look at it!

That's so kind of you. Thank you. I actually used regular coloured pencils for it. I've been using them for so long now though, that I think I'll only draw black and white for a while now ...

Yes, I can imagine you need a change after using color for so long. How long did it take you to draw this?

Oh, I'm really bad at estimating time. Usually the sketching is the toughest part and the colouring takes the longest time. Altogether maybe .. five-six hours or something. I think. c:
