I also saw X-Files!!  I had no expectations going in, too scared to be let down.  But even though I found the main plot to be quite... I dunno, wasn't impressed by it, I LOVED the Mulder & Scully interaction.  I missed them so much!!!  I scared my friend cuz I was squeeing the whole time.  :DDDD

I also saw The Dark Knight last monday, and loved every minute of it.  Will be seeing it again next week with another friend. Can't wait!!

I wasn't one for the shows(The theme song scared me).  Even though I'm not familiar with the past incidents and such, I really enjoyed the chemistry between Mulder and Scully, as you've mentioned!  Very good acting, I thought.:)

     Wall-e this afternoon :)

I went to see it without even knowing what it was about... other than a robot's story wich for me couldn't get very far.

It shocked me to realize I was watching a kind of modern silent movie (at least the first half is) but apart from that, many 'aawws' for cuteness.

Aldough the main message is pretty dark... what do you think?

Well I was a total X-Files fangirl back when the show was still running (first fandom ftw!!) but my main interest was always the Mulder and Scully relationship - the movie made me all kinds of happy Big Smile

    **Possible Spoiler**

Did you see at the end of the credits where Mulder and Scully are in a boat and waving?

Yup!  Gotta say I felt quite disturbed by that scene!  It's so... out of place!  But now I know it's just David and Gillian breaking the fourth wall and waving at us fans, so I guess it's fine LOL

lol!  It was quite strange!  I was told that that was the end of the end?  Not sure about that, but I guess it'd make sense.

Well they said they wanted to make a third movie, but it's not doing so well at the moment so I think it'll be called off... :/

The Dark Knight.  Fantastic!  Saw Wanted recently as well and highly recommend it.

They are soooooooo cute together!!!! I loved the film just because of that (I'm hopelessly romantic).

And I saw the Easter Egg. LOL!!! (but it was so weird!)

    Mamma Mia!

I was a bit sceptical about it as, I like cheesy things in moderation, but not over the top cheesy stuff (if you get what I mean, lol :P).

But I was surprised,it was really entertaining....specially Peirce Brosnan singing. If not to see the whole film, just go to see that :P The whole of the cinema applauded at the end, I have never seen that happen before!

I'm in awe of Julie Walters though. She could never be typecast...she can do funny, she can do serious, she is amazing.

    Batman and the Dark Knight.

The film is good. I may sound so familiar, but anyway: Ledger's Joker is a masterpiece.

     Missing him... He was incredible.

Re: <Last Movie Seen In Theatres>

Saw the X-files yesterday (which is why I missed all the hullabaloo on the forum yesterday afternoonWink).

Anyways, I was a fan of the show and it was great to see Mulder and Scully (and Skinner too!) back in action.  It was a kind of intense story line, and it ended up being different than what I expected (I was envisioning more alien virus/conspiracy stuff) but I still really enjoyed it. Actually my husband is a bigger X-files fan than me and he loved the story line and was glad it wasn't dealing with the alien storyline; he viewed it like another TV episode.

And yes, I saw the boat thing at the end! My husband and I debated whether to leave during the credits but we ended up staying and I'm glad we did. I was a little confused by it at first, but I thought it was cute and funny.
