I finally figured out the font thing.  You have to go to Edit Profile, then Site Options and there is a tab for Site Content- change it from Standard to Enhanced.  Then when you go to make a post in a thread, you can customize your font from there. 

Perhaps its just me ?But is there an easy way to go back to the top of the page?I'm using the arrow bar on the side and its a bit tedious.Also,I'm still not quite clear on how to preview my post before I,.umh,postSomeone mentioned a tab at the top of the page?What tab?

Don't think there is any other way of getting up to the top of the page, other than scrolling.  As for the preview.  When you hit reply, it comes up with the compose box yes?  Well, at the top of the compose box are 3 other tabs, saying 'options', 'relate' and 'preview'.

I see that some people have 'friends' in their profile. How do we do that?

I went to my friends' profile and clicked onto  'make _____ a friend' and nothing happened, in fact it changed it to 'take ___ off your friends list' . 

Now I don't know what to do! *cries*

Okay, so you've figured out how to ADD a friend (when you go into someone's profile there is a box of "Options" to the lower left hand side- there will be a star and it will say "Add ______ as a friend".  Once you've added that friend, it will change to "Remove ____ as a friend".).  Now go to Edit Profile > Favorites and you should see a box to check in the upper left hand corner that says "Share Friends".  Just check the box if you do (a little green checkmark will pop), or uncheck it if you don't want your friends displayed in your public profile.  If you scroll down, you'll see you can delete friends just by checking the box next to the name of the friend you want to remove.  There should also be an option to "Share Favorite Posts" and "Share Favorite Sections" as well.

EDIT:  Then click "save" towards the bottom to save your changes.  Crucial point there.

Has anyone noticed there's 20 posts on one page, instead of 15 like the Old Board? Well that I don't mind so much, but because there's no link at the bottom of the page (for the index), there's even more scrolling to do, to get back to the top of the page.

I've started to click on "previous" because it takes you to the top of the previous page and stops you having to scroll. Of course, that only works if there's more than 1 page I guess. D'oh!

Hey, you're welcome.  

I looked to see if there was any way to customize the post view- sometimes you can personalize to view 20 or 25 posts per page, etc... and apparently you can't do that on this forum.  Seems to be set on default post count on the pages.

Listen ya'll.. if any of you guys need any help maneuvering around the site, just stick your queries here and I'm sure someone will answer them.  There is an FAQ section under the "Help" link at the top of the page, but I know that sometimes that's not enough.  If any of you need any one on one help on how to work things, you're welcome to pm or IM or e-mail me and I will help you out the best I can (and if I don't know the answer, I'll do what I can to find it for ya).  Not trying to make myself the resident techie person here, but I know that some people are a bit discouraged with the user-unfriendliness of the new board at the moment or might be having problems figuring things out and anything to help ease the transitioning at this point is a good thing, I think.  My door (er, pm box) is always open.

Tis cool beans, everyone seems to be moderated there so once each of you guys post there I unmoderate you its easier than going through the member list and doing it

I've just noticed that under some people's avi's in each post it states when they first joined, but on mines it doesn't? It should read Feb 2005

^^The people that have that have just put that in the location spot in their profile; so if you want yours to say February 2005, you can just type that into the Location section.

 How do you change your posting font without having to change it every time you post?  Ie make a colour/font your default?
