Brilliant tune!  Top notch in my book!  Love the vocals, instrumental work, "oooh's", building up of the song!  *shakes head*  Love it..

I've only heard it once, and while I think it's a pretty song it's not really jumping out at me like the others.  I like it as it's very mellow and nice, but I don't think it's as strong lyrically, and I'm not particularly crazy about the oohs. I guess it wouldn't be so retro 80's that way, but maybe if they were sung down an octave or the rhythm was different......I don't know; something about them rubs me the wrong way.

I have to say though I feel really sorry for the band that this stuff keeps getting leaked and messed up. Maybe it'll work in their favor, but it still kind of stinks imho.

Well if it was a bonus track thats blown now - also imagine if it had been a *hidden* track! I dont think this was intended for PS as it doesnt have that vibe. Winner for me though, beautiful.

It seems they pulled it out of thin air.

I love Tom's gentle little 'ooooh's', sort of sad and tender.

I only hear Keane.

I know I always say the same thing about a new Keane song, but this time... AAAAAWWWWWWW they made my feel... WOW! In fact, I can describe how I felt by the first time I heard the song, it's maybe the greaest song I've heard of perfect symmetry stuff! IT'S AWESOME!!!

I remember Peter Pan too hahaha such a beautiful lyrics!

Awww.. what a nice thought.  Gorgeous song for it, really.  I love the airiness of the intro to it.. kinda reminds me of "The Night Sky".. mixed in with Coldplays "Death and All His Friends". 

Another "shine a light" reference...  Hmmmm...  What to make of that... :P

Doesn't sound anything like what's been released on PS thus far... but I think it's an excellent song. :)  I think this is the first Keane song where I've felt like it was written about me (sounds ridiculously narcissistic, but that's how it made me feel- despite knowing otherwise)... que Lauren Hills' "Killing Me Softly".

So, does anyone know how it's going to be released (as a bonus track? on a single? on their 4th album?)?

I heard that as well. Unfortunately, Coldplayish in the beginning (yikes!) BUt you kind of forget that in the middle and end when it has 80's(mister,mister)/Sting overtones when it crescendoes. I would like the song better if it didnt have the Ooooohs though. The lyrics dont seem that bad while hearing it in the song. Until you read them, that is.

 I dont know why the songs with oohs in it take away from the goodness of the song? I guess its just me...

The song is really good, its not the PERFECT SYMMETRY SOUND... I kind of fell in love with this sound.. I`m GLAD THEY ARE RELEASING B-SIDES :) THE MORE SONGS THE BETTER, I LOVE IT.. Only just got round to listening to it, at 2am, and I have to say... what a great song. It sounds like Keane, but then it doesn't sound like Keane. The guitar really adds something to the song, that piano riff is gorgeous, it swells and builds but without being too in your face and "we're going to save the world"-ish. I take back what I said about the lyrics - on paper they may seem cheesy, but hearing Tom sing them makes them come alive, and the sincerity and emotion really shine though. Gorgeous song.

I like the Oohs..I think it makes the song more definite..Making a mark.(if that makes sense).

I also like the bass..and there's this noise in the background that reminds me of this certain instrument.  But I don't know the name of it.  It's like a spiral shape and you rub a stick against it?

I couldn't hear it but I was listening on my computer and laptop speakers don't exactly have spiffy sound quality so.....

I listened to it again though, and actually listened to it properly (while not doing five other things at the same time ) and I have to say I like it better on the second listen; it's definitely a great song musically, and I do like most of the lyrics, though I still feel some of the main album tracks are stronger on that front. I'm still on the fence about those "ooh's though."
