Thanks for that!  I knew they played from that piece at the beginning of the HAARP DVD (my Dad knew as he is a classical music fan) but I didn't realise the music they played at the V Festival was from the same piece!

Sorry I made a mistake I was a little confused with H.A.A.R.P. The music as a intro of Knights of Cydonia at the V festival is from a movie called "Once upon a time in the West"  The music is from Sergio Leon. It's an old movie from 1968. One of my favourites!!! So I was very suprised when muse used it!!

Muse excellant live,over 20 years of concert going of various bands and styles Muse are possibley the best just hope their next tour comes to Liverpool.The Muse,Streets track was recorded during the Wembley arena gig and was a jam with no intention of being taken seriously though they are all quite happy for people to record it info is on Muse website.

How have I not managed to post in this thread before?! Incredibly good band. My favourite song is MOTP but there's barely any I don't like.

I love MOTP too, very different sound, Knights of Cydonia my favourite - I may have mentioned I love that song? (Grins)

 I absolutly ADORE Muse!! Saw them at MEN a couple of years ago, and they were out of this world!!!!!!!

I realise that this is a bit of a bump but there's been lots of news about Muse. Their album, which is hopefully coming out later this year has finally been named, it's called 'The Resistance', and one song name has also been announced; 'United States of Eurasia.' They've got gigs going on in America in September time, opening for U2. Don't know when their proper tour is starting yet but hopefully they'll release some information soon!

I heard they would tour UK and Europe in this fall, but do not know whether this info is genuine.

 Thanks for the post re their tour - I eventually managed to buy 2 tickets for the Birmingham show after an hour or so of trying this morning - problems with slow computer and 'timing-out' of sessions,etc (ticket factory website eventually went down completely -!!)

I know, but I can't take any more days off work since I work in a school and it's the first week of school for the kids. Everyone's gonna hate me for saying this, but I'm not really into U2 that much. I want a proper Muse concert. I missed my opportunity when they were here on their last tour, stupid me!
