Re: The one and only DOCTOR WHO thread

Finally found a place online where I could watch it!  I really enjoyed the episode and absolutely loved Lady Cristina.  It was definitely better than the Christmas episode (which was just alright imo).  Although, I did get a bit sad after it was over knowing we only have DT for two more episodes. What would we do without it?  Well, I know that I'd be DWless since I only have 13 channels and Sci-Fi is not one of them!

Gosh I adore Doctor Who- I watched re-runs of the original series on PBS when I was little and a few years back was flipping through the stations in the wee hours of the morning to discover the new series on BBC America! Thank God I did start watching DW again- or else I would never have found out about Keane- (thank you to whoever made a tribute video of the series 2 finale with A Bad Dream playing in the background!!!) Being a fan in the states is so difficult though- I still have yet to watch a series all the way through... must get on that soon- Netflix here I come!!!

Also-What am I going to do with my DT shrine when he leaves??? Any ideas?

lol... eerily enough, ABD just started playing on my IPod when I was typing this... sorry for the lengthyness!

Netflix is great for that!  They have the first three seasons available to watch instantly online.  They don't have season 4 available online atm, but they can send it to you by mail. :D

I'm rewatching season 4 with my brother who hasn't seen it yet.

Wooh!! Dr who is awesome!!!! My mates think I'm oh-so weird for liking it, but me and my maths teacher always have a Dr Who/Torchwood themed conversation at least once a week!! Torchwood was brill, I've just watched the final episode on BBC iPlayer, and I'm in tears!!! I can't believe "What's Occurring" in the show!! It's certainly gripping stuff!!

I had been rewatching the new series from season 1 with my brother (who's never seen it) and last night we finished the finale of season 4.  I cried just as hard as last time! Crying

Re: The one and only DOCTOR WHO thread

     Hey,

I love Doctor Who too! It's fantastic.

I found out on Wikipedia who the next assistant is going to be in series five. Since no one else seems to have posted about it, I guess I get to spread the news!

Following the 2009–2010 special episodes, a fifth series will air in 2010, in which the Eleventh Doctor will be portrayed by Matt Smith with Karen Gillan playing his companion, Amy Pond.

As it turns out, Karen Gillan has been on Doctor Who before! In the episode "The Fires of Pompeii" she played a soothsayer.

According to the showbiz news on Sarah Kennedy's Radio 2 show, the new assistant is called Amy Pond.

ONLY NINE DAYS TIL DOCTOR WHO APPEARS ON OUR SCREENS ONCE MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Squealing with excitement*

Do you know where I can download the Catherine Tate show with David Tennant as the English teacher? Gosh, what would you do if DT was actually your teacher? I'd just.. Dunno!! Eeek!
