Finally finished Mrs Dalloway, which I actually really enjoyed. Am about to start reading a book entitled Direct Red: A Surgeon's Story, by an author whose name escapes me.

Re: Today, I am reading.....
Currently two thirds of the way through my annual re-reading of Harry Potter x 7.
ClaraB:Did I not mention that HP is banned?!
Sorry Clara!
Before that I read something from the pile of books I rescued from Bookbarn earlier in the year. The Vatican Cellars by André Gide. Hadn't heard of him, but it's actually pretty good. The best way I can describe him is as the French equivalent of Dickens.
I made a daisy chain from phrase, verse and punctuation...

ohhh... The Story of a Shipwrecked Sailor.... I've always wanted
to buy a copy, but the book shops here always ran out of it! I'm currently reading / browsing "I Hope You Are All Happy Now" (a cultural anthropology of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs).

The Thorn Birds - Colleen McCullogh
I'd forgotten what a great story it was. Reading it again three years after the first time.

Lisa Parry:Charles Dickens - Great Expectations
I really should re-read this. I had to read it in high school, and my friends and I had a blast comparing all of the characters to star wars (Jabba the Havisham, Pip Skywalker, Estellavader, Obi Joe Kenobi)
My yearbook senior quote was even from it ("I wish I was a frog. Or a eel.")
I'm reading a few books right now.
HP6 for like the 100th time
Dracula- Bram Stoker (I love it)
Acts of Faith- Eboo Patel (for school)
Eric Clapton autobiography (love him)
