i'm talking to him now. haha. over facebook chat. we're just friends as of now. he already knows i like him though. but he thinks i'm "pretty damn cool" haha. true fact.

but the problem is, all his friends know i like him too, and they're pushing him into all this cuz he's never had a girlfriend. so we're on the same page, since i've never had a boyfriend. he said he's not looking for a relationship right now, cuz of stuff goin on in his life. which i'm fine with. we get along really really well though. sometimes i think we share a brain.  its crazy. like, if i bring something completely RANDOM up, he says "i was just thinking of that!"

i guess all i have to do is wait, and be myself. i can definitely wait for him, he's such a good guy. just sshyyy as crappp. lol.

i think i have a different story every time i come here. hahahaa. i'm pathetic!

So this is where i come to talk about my single-ness? (is that a word??)

mmkay, here i go:

I've been single my whole life. never been asked out. nothing. And thats about it. But im not that bitter, i know im really young and ive still got awhile. And i dont think i would be very happy having to deal with the stress of boy drama right now.

So yeah, thats it for now. boring,  ain't it?

I know exactly what you mean. My best friend and I are debating about dating, but I don't feel I'm ready...though I've been asked before by other people I just never felt the need to be with anyone. Everything else in life was getting in the way, as is the case now. Waiting for the other person is a great way to show them you care about them. It makes them feel (and this is coming from the person being waited for) really great. Good luck with this. aaah i seee. well, i've just recently become friends with this guy. He knew i liked him before we became friends, which i think it's pretty awesome that he didnt find the fact that i have a crush on him as weird or creepy or anything lol. And reading that waiting for the other person shows that you care, that cheered me up. cuz i really do care about him, and i don't want to make him rush into anything. especially since his friends are already trying to rush him. he says once his friends calm down and leave him alone, he'll be confident to hang out with me more.

 apple1693, that's not boring at all. i was the same way a little while ago. i've never been with anyone, not even for a date. i've only been asked out twice, both by the last people on earth you would want to ask you out (one was a stalker, and the other was a complete jerk). sometimes i feel like nobody likes me/is attracted to me in any way, but if i say that my friends yell at me lol. but a little while ago, I didn't want a boyfriend, even though i had my crushes. I didn't think i'd ever want a boyfriend, in fact, lol. but suddenly my outlook is really different now, and i really want to be with this guy. it's really weird now that i think about it, but i'm just gonna go with the flow.

about being alone... I enjoy it too but it's that... I don't know... I would like to have a boyfriend... someone to spend time who and those things... I've just a boyfriend when I was 14... and he wasn't really my boyfriend... I didn't even kiss him lol!... we just spent together 2 weeks... and that was it... lol again!!... I've never been with anyone again... and now I'm 16 and a half...so...

i understand you completely, it's a great way to get to know a guy, in case he's an idiot or something lol. But thank god my guy-friend isn't, he's the opposite! we can literally talk about anything to each other. and he's so funny xD. we both can't wait til the school year starts so we can hang out :) cuz both of us are too busy during the last week of summer. and we have the same AP Biology class together. woop woop.

I decided to stay single through all of my life!!

I mentioned my crush which I met in summer school, and got his email address. I returned home a few weeks ago, and showed his photo to my mum, and she said that he looked "sly" (not sure that this is the right word). Of course, I definitely disagreed with my mum, but unfortunately, she was right: I sent him three emails with some cat photography by me. However, although he promised, he didn't send me anything. When I talked with him on msn, I obviously saw that he did not even read my messages I send with my photography, but he really knows how to comment on his photo on Facebook which a friend of him took.

Now I've decided not to send him any emails before he sends any, and I'm pretty sure that he won't. It really surprised me how quickly I forgot him after I saw the real face of him.

Are all the guys in the world are like this, or do I always find the wrong guys to fall in love with? This does not bother me anymore. I'm really happy for being single.

Keaniemoshie, that guy just seems like a jerk. he's not worth your time. and thank god all guys aren't like that. since i can't make paragraphs right now i'm just gonna randomly jump around in one paragraph lol. so there's good news and bad news. i'll start on the bad. although the guy i've been talking about is good friends with me, his friend Chris said that he wasn't interested in me the way i was in him. he said he was "just being nice, trust me." but there is good news. i went to my friend's birthday party and one of the guys there was all over me. i think i like him. we've been texting and stuff and turns out that yes he likes me (and liked me first) and we're gonna hang out on sunday. more not so good news is that the guy i used to like is gonna be at my OTHER friend's birthday party. talk about awkward.

 I was kidding people are really open in this thread, i'll admit i havent read it all, and it seems that most of the replies are from women.. doesnt give me a lot of faith in my gender.

 If you like a guy, tell him. Thats all i'd say, the pain of him saying he doesnt like you is over quicker than the longing of not knowing, or hoping, and it never happening! Get drunk. Things are easier when you are drunk and you can write it off the next day if its a disaster.

Oh and some guys dont notice when girls like them. Just my 2p on some of the posts in this thread. Though that said i'm good at giving advice but i've been in situations where it'd be easier to do that than look longingly at a girl you like and know you're never gonna get her.

 

I really am intruding here, as I haven't been single for centuries. But I have to agree with Paul there about guys not noticing when girls like them. I see it all over again with Son 1. Don't be subtle. They are way to thick to pick up on it. I didn't discover this till I was about 17, and even then it took me a while to get going with that in mind.
