You clock watcher you!Stick out tongue    Hope it is not that bad.

My latest gripe is: You try to help someone, and they just refuse to listen?  I guess you could call it stubborness, you give helpful advice, and peeps refuse to listen.  So I am not left thinking "well go hurt yourself then" !!!

     Oy.
Stephen (mom's boyfriend) is always trying to make me eat meat again. Screw you... my choice to not eat it, your choice to eat it. And now he is getting all weird about me ordering the new CD. He says people shouldn't buy any movies, TV merch, or band merch until those people start buying stuff with our names and faces on it, otherwise it's pointless and uneven cashflow. Hmm

I got a job to make them richer okay? >:0

     OMG SERIOUSLY.
Why bother watching a film if you are just going to freaking talk over it?

My thoughts exactly. The thing is, at the film night we had yesterday, two out of the three films most of my friends had seen before, so pretty much all the way through American Psycho they were screaming OMG!!! CHRISTIAN BALE!!! HOT!! BLAH BLAH BLAH, which, y'know was just making me wanna scream STFU SO I CAN HEAR WHAT HE'S SAYING WHEN HE KILLS THE DAMN PEOPLE.

The worst one though was definetely Velvet Goldmine. It's confusing as hell anyway so with people talking over it at least half the time it's not even worth the bother. Thank god everyone shut up for Breakfast On Pluto. What a film.

The company that I work for! When I started this job 4 years ago there were 12 of us in the Sport and Recreation Department delivering training courses throughout East of England. Now there are 3 of us???!!! We're expected to do the same amount of work and they are refusing to recruit new staff. I love my job because it's so rewarding but am sick of being used. I've tried to stick it out but I'm fed up of it now and it's making me unhappy (which is not me!) so I'm going to start seriously looking for another job as of today!

Oh thats unreal Sarah, seriously the work load hasn't lightened at all? I totally agree with the fact that you feel used...they won't consider employing even 1 new member of staff.

That is ridiculous Sarah, how do they possibly expect you 3 to manage?  Frankly they do not deserve to succeed, I know times are hard at the moment, but that is madness.  All I can say speaking from previous experience, be careful not to jump from the frying pan into the fire.  Good luck.

Thanks guys for listening to my ranting:-)

I think that the company is trying to get rid of the Sport & Rec department so are just biding their time until we all leave. They've already scrapped it in some areas of the country. The company delivers work based learning (NVQ's and stuff like that) in different sectors such as sport, care, hospitality, retail and engineering. Recently they've invested loads in retail, hospitality and engineering and have really expanded in these sectors. No investment has been made in sport and care and there's less government funding available in these sectors so I think they just want rid! Sorry for boring you with the long story!

Anyway, I've applied for a job with Connexions today as a Young Persons Advisor so fingers crossed - at least this is a job role that will still be rewarding and working with young people. Also applied for a job with another training provider but working with people with learning needs to give them extra support to acheive their qualifications. This isn't sector specific so could be more stable. I've seen another job advertised with Norfolk Adult Education so might give that a go.

Oops - just realised that I've typed an essay (sorry!)
