Nothing Keane-related to report, but I've got an orphan!  I'm not writing this as part of a spiritual adventure (I am still breathing), but my daughter got a part in Annie the musical.  I'm very pleased for her, but am thinking of having themed cochlear implants, so I can tune into something else other than 'Its a Hard Knock Life' for the next two months!

I know that nobody ever posts here anymore.

But I just wanted to tell you that today is my son's 16th!!!! Birthday and I feel really sad about it. I have no idea where the time went....

Maybe I should post this in the over 30 but it still kinda sucks thread?

I understand. My eldest will be 16 in March and I still don't know what happened there. Even though I've had years of being looked down on to get used to the idea of him growing up.

He's 6'2" and still growing!! But somehow 15 seems so much younger than 16. He's old enough to drive now FFS! And this is a kid who still loses his retainer every other day.

I couldn't let mine learn to drive. He has the coordination skills of a baby giraffe. Takes after his mother.Luckily I have another 17 months before I need to think about that, as they can't learn before they're 17 in the UK.  He looks like a boy rather than a young man to me, but strangers often assume he's a lot older. I've even had people assume he was my other half. Ew. That's an age gap too far.

I still think you were a child bride, Kim.   No way you have a 16 year old.

They're usually a bit wanting, the ones who think that sort of thing. On Mr D's side of the family.

Mine is 14 at the end of October, but he look like a boy. He's worried about his height, because his classmates are much taller than him. I always said that he'll grow as much as hubby (he is 1,90 ) but you know the teenagers and their 'worries'

Driving license don't mind actually, because in Spain you need to be 18 , I still have 4  years to think about that

And about me, I'm so excited, TTR&J will come to my hometown Bilbao. This exceed my expectations, although I've dreamed sometimes. But is  a secret gig, nobody knows anything about the place, time and so on. And the worst, I have to win a contest and get a ticket. I'm trying  to find the maximum of  pincodes as I can, but this don't assure you a ticket.  Fingers crossed for me ¡¡¡¡¡¡
