Re: Keane Shop - Powered by Sandbag

I wonder when they get the stock of T-shirts.

I ordered mine a few months ago, then they sent me a wrong size. I have already returned it to the address but no correct T-shirt to receive.

The worse thing is that I sent an e-mail asking what happened and guessed the reason could be that they didn't have any stock that was why I wasn't getting mine yet. And they said my guess was right. Isn't it supposed to be you send the information before I ask?

Am I the only who is having a trouble with Sandbag? I am not sure whether I am going to purchase anything from the site ever again.

I almost puked when i saw these t-shirts, i don't like wearing white ones anyway so i wouldn't buy one even if i liked the pattern, but then that's just my opinion and we are all entitled to one.

Hi guys! I'm from Spain but I want to buy a Keane t-shirt (I don't know if the t-shirt with the triangles or the new yet!)Stick out tongue but there is a problem. Sizes here and there change! and in the website there isn't any size chart (or I havent's seen it) to see if I can wear it cos' I'm a bit fat and, how you can understand, I'm not gonna spend my money (adding to the cost of the t-shirt the expenses of shipment) in something that I can't wear. I reall really love it and I want it...! (now that my birthday is coming soon, hahahaBig Smile) so...Does anybody know the size chart or can help me? If you have a t-shirt XL or L, can you put in contact to me to say me the measures or what elese?!?!?!?!?!

Well, any help will be good to me, so don't doubt in contacting with me or responding to me here, please!

    Thanks, thanks!

I wrote a bit of a rambling post about ladies' T shirt sizes there, then realised I had no idea if you are male or female. Sorry if I've missed something.

Welcome to the board, by the way!

I'm so rubbish at links, but there's a discussion on the sizes in the Changing face of km.com thread in the News forum. As a fairly curvy female myself, I wouldn't buy a UK size 10, but some women are happy with the men's T shirts.

I've just find it! Well, at least I think it is what i'm looking for.. I wrote "size chart" and I found another post about a Keane Shop. Are the sizes equals? Cos' this new shop is powered by Sandbag and it's another company, isn't it? It's for to be more secure... Excuse me if I'm very repetitiveStick out tongue

It's a different company making these T shirts than the other Keane ones. It's kind of frustrating that these new ones are to pre-order, as it means we won't get any feedback on what the sizes are like for a few weeks. Unless I've got that part wrong: must admit I closed down a bit when I saw what sizes were available. I don't think I'm being much help here. Anyone else have advice?

I like the Fair Trade T Shirt but I wont be buying one because of the sizes. Am disappointed that there are only ladies size 8 or 10, I do have the red Lots Of Keane one in a size medium that I got from one of the concerts, and to be honest it is smaller than the normal medium size but does just about fit me (as long as I dont eat anything). I will not be ordering the small mens as it will be a different shape to the ladies. Why on earth are they not stocking average size ladies ones, ie. a 12 or 14 size?

Not sure it really helps, but UK sizes tend to be slightly bigger than Spanish ones.  In the UK I get size 10 (sometimes 8) tops, or medium, and in Spain, say in Zara, I'm often a large or the large is skin tight!!

What size shirt do you usually wear? The sizes the Keane shop has are 8 and 10, which is Small and Medium or 36 and 38, so if you typically wear one of those sizes, you might be ok.   I'm curvy so I typically have to go with large (12) or extra large (14) here in the US when I get t-shirts.  I have the blue triangle shirt and when I got it they didn't have my size, so I got it in a men's medium and it actually fits really well (though it would be nice if it was a ladies shirt and not a mens!).

    Anyhoo...hope that helps you out!

Well, it depends of the store and the size chart... but I usually wear extra large or large in Spain. I've never bought in UK sizes.

I've thought do the same as you. I'll buy a men's t-shirt...I don't know if I'll take medium or large. Well, I will guide myself with the size chart I found in the forum and then my measures in inches and I'll check at least.

Thanks everybody for the help, you are really amiables!!! Big Smile

Apart from the fact that a size 12 being classified as large completely depresses me, this could be helpful Smile  With the ladies t-shirts in the Keane shop that are sized SML, is a UK 12 (US 8 or 10?) generally a large?  I wanted to get some things from the shop ages ago but never got around to working out what the sizes are like.  Thanks!

Incidentally, "large" is a really funny word when you see it too often.

Re: Keane Shop - Powered by Sandbag

I went to a site that I tend to like to buy clothes from, and I looked at their international size chart and here is what it looked like:

I don't know if this is universal or just for that store, but according to the above chart, a UK size 8 is a US size 4 or a small (Sweet moses...if that's the size of the shirts in the Keane shop then that means I could wear the shirt as an arm band Confused).

Getting back on topic, I noticed that now on the new Limited edition shirts, it just says small and medium with no number size. So since I'm assuming the Keane shop is UK sizes, that means - according the chart above - a 12 or 14 is a medium in the UK.  However, on the PS tour shirts, it says that a large is a 12/14. Hmm I guess maybe it just depends on the shirt...

Well, now that I feel like I've probably just made everything clear as mud (admittedly it doesn't take much for me, but I think I'm even more confused now than I was! lol) I hope that manages to help a little!

Well Melissa you helped me decide not to buy a shirt that small! So thanks...Big Smile

Maybe they'll have larger sizes on the Canadian tour? Wishful thinking?

Oh thanks! It's very helpful all the informations and opinions you're writting here..!

Tomorrow I'm travelling to spend my holidays in a city near where I live, but I don't know if I'll be able to get internet, but I will order soon my t-shirt, I think for me it's better buy a men's medium t-shirt. I'll contact to you if I get my t-shirt and then I'll tell you everything...

Well, I have to leave you, I'm gonna pack my things...

    XOXO
