thanks naily...just heard the song 'Two Weeks' and was very impressed with the band's look, sound and confidence. I'll definitely be searching for more of their tracks.btw...my mum was listening as well and she asked me to turn up the volume...she said that grizzly bear "sounds very new age." LOL
Embrace, Embrace, Embrace. Listen to Embrace. They have heart, soul, passion, and they're music's pretty amazing too.
Love Embrace, love the songs etc etc but boy Danny live soooo hit and miss sometimes he is just so out of tune. Best I ever saw them T in the Park 2005.
I was totally going to put Grizzly Bear on here. I've said it before I know, but we have really similar taste!
How about another animal-named band?
Frightened Rabbit

Not into animals? More of a physical geography buff, eh?
Islands (with whom I'm sure some of you are familiar)
I second Bibliophile's band recommendations. Some artistsI suggest are Blonde Redhead, Wintersleep, Destroyer, and The Magnetic Fields.
I saw No More Kings live at Rock 101 SkyShow in May of this year - they're really good.

Rocking my world currently! Psychotic Girl is genius. Strange Times reminds me of QOTSA. Currently touring the states - coming to the UK in November.
