 I Love Eskimo Joe! Well everything up until Inshalla ( still trying to get into it). Everytime they schedule a show here (Canada) it seems to get cancelled.

Anyone know of The Echelon Effect, here is a link to listen to some of their stuff, you can download each of their albums for free in low quality mp3's at 128kbps or pay a minimum of £2 for the highest quality mp3 sound at 320kbps. I recommend checking them out cos i just love them. It's just music NO singing.

 Thanks to a subscription to Sigur Ros' site, I got a link in my e-mail inbox to DL Fanfarlo's new album "Reservoir" for $1 til July 4th.  I dig these guys, but just thought I'd throw this out there for anyone interested...

Couldn't agree more!  Absolutely superb band - and now in the elite club of bands/artists I've flow the Atlantic to see play live (I saw them at the Bowery Ballroom in New York, and The Bell House in Brooklyn on September 21st and 22nd). More locally, I've seen them at Bush Hall in London and at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds since I returned to the UK.

They're amazing to watch live, especially with the huge array of instruments involved. As well as "the usual" (electric and acoustic guitar, piano, bass and drums) they play glockenspiel, mandolin, violin, trumpet, french horn, clarinet, saxaphone, melodeon, kazoo, musical saw and probably a few more that I've forgotten!

Can also strongly recommend The Candle Thieves www.myspace.com/thecandlethieves 

I don't know much about Fanfarlo, although I've heard their cover of "We only come out at night" which is very pleasant, but I do know the Candle Thieves, and can thoroughly recommend them. Their brand of music is addictive, and they are gathering fans (and good reviews in the national newspapers) by the day.
